Warm milkshake with milkmaid, cream and vanilla extract
Ingredients
- 400 g sweetened condensed milk (Milkmaid)
- 500 ml cream, 20% fat
- 350 ml milk
- 1 vanilla pod
- 250 ml cream, at least 33% fat
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- sprinkles, optional
Utensils

- hand mixer
- mixing spoon
Instructions
- Combine the condensed milk, 20% cream and milk in a saucepan.
- Have the vanilla pod in half lengthways.
- Scrape out the pulp.
- Add everything to the saucepan with the milk mixture.
- Place the saucepan on the stove.
- Bring the milk mixture almost to the boil on medium-high.
- Let it cool down a bit.
- In the meantime, use a mixer to beat the cold cream until creamy.
- As soon as the cream thickens, add the sugar and vanilla extract.
- Continue beating until the mixture becomes stiff.
- Pour the finished drink into glasses.
- Garnish with the whipped cream on top.
- Serve the milkshake warm.
- If desired, moisten the rims of the glasses with milk and pour into the Dip the sprinkles.
- Then top the cream with sprinkles as well.
