Ingredients

  • 400 g sweetened condensed milk (Milkmaid)
  • 500 ml cream, 20% fat
  • 350 ml milk
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 250 ml cream, at least 33% fat
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • sprinkles, optional

Utensils

  • pot
  • hand mixer
  • mixing spoon

Instructions

  1. Combine the condensed milk, 20% cream and milk in a saucepan.
  2. Have the vanilla pod in half lengthways.
  3. Scrape out the pulp.
  4. Add everything to the saucepan with the milk mixture.
  5. Place the saucepan on the stove.
  6. Bring the milk mixture almost to the boil on medium-high.
  7. Let it cool down a bit.
  8. In the meantime, use a mixer to beat the cold cream until creamy.
  9. As soon as the cream thickens, add the sugar and vanilla extract.
  10. Continue beating until the mixture becomes stiff.
  11. Pour the finished drink into glasses.
  12. Garnish with the whipped cream on top.
  13. Serve the milkshake warm.
  14. If desired, moisten the rims of the glasses with milk and pour into the Dip the sprinkles.
  15. Then top the cream with sprinkles as well.
