Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 240g mushrooms
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 7 tbsp ketchup
  • 60g breadcrumbs
  • 80 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 560 g ground turkey

Utensils

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  • Grease a baking tin with a tablespoon of oil.
  • Peel the onion and garlic and cut into small cubes.
  • Cut the mushrooms into small cubes.
  • Onion in the remaining oil for approx. 5 minutes Fry until soft.
  • Add the garlic and sauté for a further few minutes.
  • Add the mushrooms to the vegetables.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Put the mushrooms and onions in a bowl.
  • Worcestershire sauce and 3 tablespoons of ketchup and stir.
  • Approx. Leave to stand for 5 minutes to allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  • Mix the breadcrumbs with the milk.
  • Whisk the eggs lightly with a fork.
  • Mix the mushrooms, ground turkey, breadcrumbs and eggs together.
  • Then season with salt and pepper and mix well Mix together.
  • Place the filling in the prepared baking pan and form into a loaf.
  • Dross with the remaining ketchup.
  • Bake the meatloaf for about 50 minutes.
  • Let cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
