Ingredients

  • 1 kg pumpkin, peeled
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 orange
  • 800 g sugar

Instructions

  1. Crush the pumpkin in a food processor or using a meat grinder.
  2. Squeeze the lemon, collecting the lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. Finely grate the orange zest.
  4. Place the pumpkin in a saucepan or deep pan.
  5. Add the sugar and Mix well.
  6. Leave the mixture for an hour.
  7. Then place on the stove and bring to a boil.
  8. Simmer the pumpkin over medium-high heat for 1 hour.
  9. Approx. Add lemon juice and grated orange zest 5 to 10 minutes before the end of the preparation.
  10. Spread the jam into sterilized jars.
  11. Close the jars tightly.
  12. Then turn them upside down, cover and leave to cool.
  13. Pumkin jam for tea or as a Enjoy spread.
