Stuffed tomatoes with garlic

This is a delicious snack that is very easy to make and takes about a quarter of an hour to prepare. The filling is made from cottage cheese, garlic and fresh herbs. The are perfect for the party buffet or as a fresh side dish a hearty meat dish.

Ingredients

  • Herbs, to taste
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 200 g cottage cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2-3 tbsp sour cream, or mayonnaise
  • 8-10 tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the herbs.
  2. Peel the garlic and press through the garlic press.
  3. Put the herbs, garlic, cottage cheese, salt and sour cream or mayonnaise in a bowl and mix together.
  4. Wash the tomatoes, pat dry and top with the stalk cut off.
  5. Then carefully hollow out the tomatoes with a spoon.
  6. Then fill the tomatoes with the cheese mixture you have made.
  7. Put the tomato tops back on the filled tomatoes.

Tip

If you like the filling finer, you can chop it with a hand blender before filling.
