Stuffed potatoes with spinach and cheese in the oven

There are tons of stuffed potato recipes out there. This one is particularly delicious. Potatoes are baked and then stuffed with a light mixture of cream cheese and spinach. Baked with cheese in the oven, these potatoes taste particularly tender and tasty. Vegetarians will love this dish!

  • 3-4 potatoes, large
  • ½ onions
  • 200 g hard cheese
  • 300 g spinach, frozen
  • 120 g cream cheese
  • 120 ml milk
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and prick them with a fork.
  3. Wrap in foil, place on a baking tray and bake for about 60-70 minutes until soft.
  4. Then remove from the oven , allow to cool slightly, cut in half lengthwise.
  5. Scoop out part of the flesh with a spoon, leaving the potato walls 4-5 mm thick.
  6. Mash the flesh to a puree.
  7. Peel the onion and cut into very fine ones Cut into cubes.
  8. Grate the cheese finely, set a third aside.
  9. Thaw the spinach and squeeze out the liquid.
  10. Mix with the mashed potatoes, the two types of cheese and the milk.
  11. Season with salt and pepper.
  12. Halves of potatoes with the Stuff the spinach mixture.
  13. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 15 minutes.
  14. Remove the stuffed potatoes from the oven and serve immediately.
