Stuffed chicken thighs with mushrooms in the oven
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil, + for greasing
- 10 chicken thighs, drumsticks
- 1 onion
- 200g mushrooms
- 100g cheese Hard cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- ½ tsp Garlic, dried , ground
- ½ tsp paprika, sweet
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
Utensils
- baking sheet
- knife
- cheese grater
- frying pan
- toothpick
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C.
- Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil.
- Pull the skin off the chicken thighs towards the ankle.
- Sever the bone at the level of the ankle.
- Remove the meat from the bone and cut into small ones Dice.
- Dice the onion and mushrooms as well.
- Grate the cheese coarsely.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan.
- Fry the onion for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and cook for a further 3-4 minutes.
- Add the chicken to the mushrooms and onions.
- Add the salt and spices and mix well.
- Turn the thigh skin back into its original shape and fill with the meat mixture.
- Preferably secure with toothpicks.
- Place the chicken thighs on the prepared baking sheet .
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and spread with mayonnaise.
- Cook the chicken thighs in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
