Spicy tartar sauce with pickles for fish or potatoes
Tartar sauce is a spicy mayonnaise-based sauce. With an intense, sour-salty taste of pickled cucumbers and capers, the sauce goes perfectly with fish or potatoes. The pleasant aroma of lemon juice and fresh herbs makes the sauce even more tasty.
- 1 pickled cucumber
- 1 tbsp capers
- 3-5 sprigs parsley
- 2-4 sprigs tarragon
- 6 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Finely chop the cucumber, capers, parsley and tarragon.
- Measure out 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley and 2 teaspoons of chopped tarragon for the sauce.
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
- Keep the tartare sauce in the fridge and serve with the fish or potatoes .
Ready tartar sauce should be stored in the fridge and used within 2-3 days.
