Spicy chicken salad with kohlrabi

The Chicken Salad with Kohlrabi and Apple is very nutritious, tastes fresh and is super crunchy. An unusually creamy, tangy curry dressing adds a zesty flavor to this refreshing chicken salad.

  • 1 onion
  • Salt, to taste
  • 400 g chicken fillet
  • 2-3 sprigs of parsley
  • 60 ml cream
  • 4-5 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2-3 tsp curry
  • 2 kohlrabi
  • 2 apples
  • 2-3 spring onions


  1. Peel and roughly chop the onion.
  2. Put the onion pieces, chicken fillet and parsley in a saucepan of boiling salted water.
  3. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Let the meat cool and cut into pieces .
  5. Whip the cream with a mixer.
  6. Mix with the mayonnaise and curry.
  7. Peel the kohlrabi and apples and cut into sticks.
  8. Finely chop the spring onions.
  9. The chicken with the kohlrabi, the apple and the spring onions toss in a salad bowl.
  10. Season the salad with salt and drizzle over the dressing.
