Ingredients

  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 6 slices of bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/180°C/350°F.
  2. Rinse the chicken thighs, pat dry and peel off the skin.
  3. Scrape the tip of the bone clean with a sharp knife.
  4. Brush the chicken thighs with the BBQ sauce.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper all over and wrap each with 1 slice of bacon.
  6. Put the legs in a casserole dish.
  7. Fry the chicken legs in a hot oven at 180°C until light brown and crispy.

Serve tomato ketchup or a spicy tomato sauce with the bacon-wrapped chicken legs.
