Ingredients

  • 90 ml water
  • 100 g sugar
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 100-150 g icing sugar, for rolling
  • 1 tsp lemon zest, grated

Utensils

  • Pot
  • Whisk
  • Plate
  • Chocolate capsules

Instructions

  1. Mix the water and sugar together in a small saucepan.
  2. Then bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Let the syrup simmer for 5-6 minutes until thickened.
  4. Stir the mixture occasionally.
  5. Add the lemon zest.
  6. In another saucepan, lightly whisk the egg yolks.
  7. Pour the hot syrup over the egg yolks, stirring constantly.
  8. Cook the egg mixture on the lowest setting for 3-4 minutes.
  9. In the process use a whisk to stir constantly.
  10. As soon as the batter begins to pull away from the sides and bottom of the pot, remove the pot from the heat.
  11. Pour the batter onto a plate and let cool slightly.
  12. Differently dust the candy with powdered sugar Sprinkle.
  13. Next, form small pralines into balls with your hands.
  14. Roll the pralines in icing sugar and place in praline capsules.
  15. Place the dessert in the fridge for 2-3 hours to cool.
