Ingredients

  • 250g spaghetti
  • 20g butter
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 red onion
  • 50g bacon
  • 200ml cream 20%
  • 50g Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large saucepan.
  2. Cook the pasta al dente.
  3. Melt the butter in a pan.
  4. Fry the finely chopped onions, garlic, and bacon.
  5. Remove the pan from the heat.
  6. Four In a deep bowl, beat egg yolks with cream and grated parmesan.
  7. Salt and pepper the mixture, mix again.
  8. Into the prepared spaghetti add the pieces of bacon fried with onions and garlic.
  9. Add the mixture of cream, egg yolks and parmesan.
  10. Sprinkle with freshly grated cheese and season with pepper.
  11. Serve the spaghetti carbonara immediately.
