Ingredients

  • 2 balls of beetroot
  • 1-2 carrots
  • 3-4 potatoes
  • 3 gherkins
  • 1 onion
  • 150 g sauerkraut
  • 150 g peas, canned
  • salt to taste
  • pepper, to taste taste
  • oil, at will

Utensils

  • pot
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • bowl
  • mixing spoon

Instructions

  1. Cook vegetables: beetroot for about 2 hours (or buy already cooked), carrots for about 30 minutes, potatoes for about 20 – 25 minutes.
  2. Let the vegetables cool and peel.
  3. Cooked vegetables and cucumbers into medium-sized ones Cut into pieces.
  4. Chop the onion into small pieces.
  5. Squeeze out the sauerkraut and chop into small pieces so that the pieces are not too long.
  6. Put everything in a bowl together with the peas.
  7. Season with salt, pepper and oil.
  8. Serve the finished winter salad immediately or leave it in the fridge for 1 – 2 hours.
