Simple winter salad with beetroot, sauerkraut and potatoes
Ingredients
- 2 balls of beetroot
- 1-2 carrots
- 3-4 potatoes
- 3 gherkins
- 1 onion
- 150 g sauerkraut
- 150 g peas, canned
- salt to taste
- pepper, to taste taste
- oil, at will
Utensils

- mixing spoon
Instructions
- Cook vegetables: beetroot for about 2 hours (or buy already cooked), carrots for about 30 minutes, potatoes for about 20 – 25 minutes.
- Let the vegetables cool and peel.
- Cooked vegetables and cucumbers into medium-sized ones Cut into pieces.
- Chop the onion into small pieces.
- Squeeze out the sauerkraut and chop into small pieces so that the pieces are not too long.
- Put everything in a bowl together with the peas.
- Season with salt, pepper and oil.
- Serve the finished winter salad immediately or leave it in the fridge for 1 – 2 hours.
