Simple pasta salad with mayonnaise, ham and tomatoes
Ingredients
Dressing
- 200 g mayonnaise
- 50 ml lemon juice
- 1.5 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp thyme
- 75 ml olive oil
- 1/3 tsp salt

- 340 g pasta
- 100 g ham, or bacon optional
- 1 tomato
- 2 tsp thyme
- 2 tsp salt
- parsley, for garnish

Instructions
Dressing
- In a mixing bowl, mix the mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, thyme and salt.
- Stir with a mixer and pour in the olive oil in small portions.
- Stir the dressing until it turns white.
Pasta salad
- Put the noodles in Cook in salted water until soft.
- Drain the water and rinse the pasta in cold water.
- Cut the ham or bacon into very small pieces.
- Fry in a pan over high heat for 6-8 minutes.
- Dice the tomato.
- In a large bowl add the cooked pasta, ham, diced tomatoes and lemon mayonnaise dressing and stir well.
- Sprinkle the pasta salad with the finely chopped parsley and serve.
