Roast pork in aluminum foil with mustard and onions from the oven
Ingredients
- 600-700 g pork tenderloin
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 onion
- 3-4 tbsp mustard, grainy
- 50 g brown sugar
- 1-2 tsp thyme, dried

Instructions
- Rinse the pork fillet thoroughly and pat dry.
- Rub with salt and pepper.
- Mix the mustard with sugar and thyme in a small bowl.
- Rub the pork fillet with it on all sides.
- Approx. Leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Peel the onions, rinse and cut into rings.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat.
- Double a piece of aluminum foil.
- Spread the onions on the foil.
- Place the pork fillet on the onions and wrap in the foil, not too tightly.
- Place the meat in an oven dish and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 40-45 minutes.
- Remove the dish from the oven and uncover the meat from above .
- Put back in the oven.
- Bake for about 10-15 more minutes until the top of the fillet is slightly golden brown.
- Let the roast pork rest in the foil for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
- Slice the meat and serve with vegetables.
