A hearty and delicious pasta and tuna dish with a golden cheese crust. The pasta casserole is quick and easy to prepare and does not require many ingredients.

Quick pasta casserole with tuna

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 400 g pasta
  • Salt, to taste
  • 370 g tuna, in its own juice
  • 150 g hard cheese
  • 400 g tomato sauce
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat.
  2. Grease a casserole dish with vegetable oil.
  3. Cook the noodles in boiling salted water for 2 minutes less than the packet says.
  4. Drain the noodles in the colander.
  5. Drain the tuna
  6. Mash the fish with a fork and place in the casserole dish.
  7. Place pasta on top of fish.
  8. Pour tomato sauce over pasta.
  9. Grate cheese on a medium grater.
  10. Separate pepper to taste and sprinkle with cheese.
  11. Bake the pasta casserole in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
