These mini cakes in waffles are a great pastry for children’s parties that look like ice cream and taste simply delicious. Made quickly, served in crispy waffle cups with sprinkles, the little cakes are a hit with children!

Ingredients

  • 100 g butter, softened
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 p. Vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg size, M
  • 140 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 16 waffle cups
  • 100 g couverture
  • sugar sprinkles, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the softened butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy.
  2. Stir in the egg.
  3. Add the flour and baking powder and mix to form an even batter.
  4. Place the waffle cups on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
  5. Fill about two-thirds of the batter into the waffle cups.
  6. Bake the small cakes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for approx. 15 minutes.
  7. Let the cakes cool down.
  8. Groove with chocolate and top with sugar sprinkles.
