Ingredients

  • 650 g potatoes
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Black pepper, to taste

Utensils

  • peeler
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • frying pan

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut into slices no more than 1cm thick.
  2. Heat the butter and vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the potatoes in a single layer, sauté for about 10-12 minutes.
  4. Turn occasionally.
  5. Salt and pepper the finished potatoes.
  6. Place the fried potatoes on top of each other when serving, cover with a sauce or a vegetable salad.

Depending on the thickness of the slices, the preparation time may vary slightly and would have to be adjusted.
