Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 lemon
  • 3-4 sprigs of parsley
  • 360 g spaghetti
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 100 ml cream
  • Parmesan, to taste, optional

Utensils

Instructions

  1. Peel the garlic and crush it with a knife.
  2. Finely grate the zest of the lemon and squeeze the juice.
  3. Finely chop the parsley.
  4. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water, 2 minutes less than the packet says.
  5. Meanwhile Heat the olive oil in a pan.
  6. Fry the garlic for 1 minute.
  7. Add the lemon juice and continue cooking for 1 minute.
  8. Add the warm cream, lemon zest, parsley and salt to the pan.
  9. Mix together and 2 minutes later add the Remove the garlic.
  10. Place the spaghetti in the pan as well and add 3 to 4 tablespoons of the cooking water.
  11. Stir everything thoroughly and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  12. If desired, sprinkle Parmesan over the pasta.
