Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ¹⁄₂ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp semolina
  • 250ml buttermilk, or kefir
  • 240g flour

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the sugar, salt and egg.
  2. Add the semolina and pour in the buttermilk.
  3. Sieve the flour and baking powder into the mixture.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan.
  5. Pour the batter into the pan with a spoon.
  6. Oladji Fry until golden on both sides and serve for breakfast.
