Ingredients

  • ¹⁄₂ cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • ¹⁄₄ tsp baking powder
  • ¹⁄₂ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 egg white
  • ¹⁄₂ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • ¹⁄₂ apple
  • 1 handful of walnuts

Utensils

  • bowl
  • hand mixer
  • knife
  • peeler
  • baking paper
  • baking sheet

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Separately, whisk together the liquid coconut oil, egg white, vanilla extract, honey, and milk.
  3. Add the dry mixture and mix again.
  4. The apple peel and cut into small cubes.
  5. Mix the apple pieces with the dough.
  6. Add chopped nuts if desired.
  7. Knead the dough a little more and form biscuits.
  8. Place the biscuits on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  9. Bake the oatmeal biscuits at 180° C in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
