Ingredients

  • 480ml grape juice
  • 320ml pomegranate juice
  • 120ml orange juice
  • 360ml water
  • ¹⁄₂ orange
  • ¹⁄₂ lemon
  • 1 piece ginger, sliced
  • 1 cinnamon
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 Bay leaves
  • 1 Star anise
  • 4 g Black tea

Utensils

  • Pot
  • Knife
  • Peeler
  • Mixing spoon
  • Glasses

Instructions

  1. Pour all the juices into a saucepan with 120 ml of water.
  2. Using a knife or a peeler, remove the zest from the orange and
  3. lemon, leaving the white layer untouched.
  4. Place the saucepan on the stove and heat over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the orange or lemon zest, cinnamon, cloves, star anise, ginger and bay leaf and stir.
  6. Once the mixture is boiling, remove from the heat, cover and leave for 1 hour.
  7. This is how long the Mulled wine so that the aromas of all the ingredients develop well.
  8. Then brew the tea with the remaining 240 ml of boiling water.
  9. After 5 minutes, strain the tea and put it into the pot.
  10. Heat the mulled wine without boiling it.
  11. Pour the mulled wine into cups or glasses and serve hot.
