Ingredients

Shortcrust pastry

  • 150 g margarine
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 egg

Filling

  • 750 g low-fat quark
  • 200 g sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 300 g cherries

Utensils

  • bowl
  • hand mixer
  • springform pan

Instructions

Prepare the cheesecake base

  1. Mix the soft margarine with the sugar and egg.
  2. Add the flour with baking powder and knead into an even shortcrust pastry.
  3. Put the shortcrust pastry in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.

Prepare the quark filling

  1. Quark, sugar, eggs and flour stir together.
  2. Grease the springform pan and line the base and edges with the shortcrust pastry.
  3. Put the quark filling on the dough and spread the cherries over the quark cream.
  4. The cheesecake with cherries in the oven for approx. 50 minutes at a temperature of 175- Bake 180 degrees.

To prevent the cheesecake from collapsing, it should cool down in the oven for about 15 minutes after the baking time, after which the edge is removed from the mold with a knife. The cheesecake can be refined with various fruits such as blueberries, strawberries, raspberries or other berries!
