Ingredients

  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 pear, very ripe
  • 100ml buttermilk, or kefir
  • 200g flour
  • 50g walnuts
  • 100g butter
  • 100g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 banana, very ripe
  • 50 g raisins

Utensils

  • hand mixer
  • bowl
  • fork
  • loaf pan
  • spoon
  • knife
  • cutting board

Instructions

  1. Soak the raisins in hot water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain in a colander.
  3. Peel the banana and pear.
  4. Core the pear.
  5. Mash the fruit into a puree.
  6. Chop the nuts with a knife.
  7. Mix the fruit mixture with butter, buttermilk, eggs and sugar.
  8. Sieve the baking powder with the flour.
  9. Stir the flour mixture into the banana mixture.
  10. Add the raisins and nuts and stir to form a smooth batter.
  11. A loaf tin lined with baking paper Lay out.
  12. Pour the dough into the tin.
  13. Flat the surface.
  14. Put the banana cake in an oven preheated to 160°C for 50 minutes.
  15. Let the cake cool in the tin and remove from the tin.
