Make your own iced tea from raspberries and black tea

A homemade, fruity and refreshing iced tea with raspberries. This iced tea is easy to prepare with little effort. It tastes sweet and is an excellent refreshment on warm summer days.

Ingredients

  • 4 l water
  • 300 g sugar
  • 350 g raspberries
  • 10-12 bags of black tea
  • 60 ml lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pour the water into a large saucepan.
  2. Add the sugar and raspberries and stir.
  3. Bring the liquid to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until the sugar has dissolved.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the Add the tea bags and the lemon juice.
  5. Let the tea stand for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Remove the tea bags.
  7. Leave to infuse for a further 1 hour at room temperature.
  8. Then strain the drink through a sieve.
  9. With a spoon squeeze the raspberries to extract as much liquid as possible.
  10. Put the tea in the fridge to cool.
