Ingredients

Dough

  • 60 g margarine
  • 70 g sugar
  • ½ p. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 125 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 50 ml milk

Topping

  • 60 g butter
  • 125 g double cream cheese
  • 125 g powdered sugar
  • ½ vanilla bean
  • 50 g fondant, for the snowflakes
  • 1 handful of sugar pearls

Utensils

  • Hand mixer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Muffin tin
  • Paper cups
  • Piping bag
  • Spoon
  • Dough roller
  • Snowflake punch

Instructions

Mix the dough

  1. Margarine in a bowl.
  2. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs.
  3. Mix the baking powder with the flour and stir in alternately with the milk.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  5. Place the muffin cases in the muffin tin.
  6. Den Fill the batter into the moulds.
  7. Bake the muffins for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees.
  8. Let the muffins cool down.

Topping

  1. Roll out the fondant and stamp out the snowflakes.
  2. Let the fondant snowflakes harden.
  3. The Slowly melt the butter and let it cool.
  4. Whip the butter with the cream cheese.
  5. Scrape out the pulp from half a vanilla pod.
  6. Add the vanilla pulp to the cream.
  7. Sieve in the icing sugar and stir everything into a uniform topping cream.
  8. The frosting cream for Chill for 1 hour.
  9. Pour the frosting cream into a piping bag.
  10. Pipe the frosting onto the cupcakes.
  11. Top the Christmas cupcakes with snowflakes and decorate with sugar pearls as you like.
