Keftedes are small meatballs from Greek cuisine that taste very aromatic. The mint gives the meatballs a fresh taste and the garlic gives them a pleasant aroma. The tomato sauce made from fresh tomatoes and carrots dominates the taste of the keftedes and makes them taste incredibly delicious.

Ingredients

500 g minced meat
2 slices of white bread
2 onions
1 egg
3 cloves of garlic
parsley, to taste
mint, to taste
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
olive oil, to taste
flour, to taste
4 tomatoes
2 carrots

Instructions

Soak the white bread in a little water.
Put the wet, squeezed bread in a bowl.
Mix well with the ground beef, egg, onions, garlic, mint and chopped parsley.
Season with salt and pepper.
Off Form 2-3 cm large meatballs from the meat mixture and roll them in flour.
Heat the oil in a pan.
Fry the keftedes for 3-4 minutes on both sides.
For the sauce, fry the finely chopped onions together with the garlic.
Add the grated carrots and chopped tomatoes and bring the sauce to a boil.
Pour the keftedes into the sauce and simmer for about 25-30 minutes.
Keftedes Meatballs in tomato sauce, sprinkle with chopped parsley and enjoy warm.
