Ingredients

  • 3 apples
  • 150g sugar
  • 150g cream cheese
  • 100g butter
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 180g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Utensils

  • knife
  • cutting board
  • bowl
  • bowl
  • hand mixer
  • springform pan

Instructions

  1. Core the apples and cut into small cubes.
  2. Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar with cinnamon and add half of the mixture to the apples.
  3. Beat the soft butter with the sugar.
  4. Add the eggs, lemon juice, cream cheese, flour and baking powder and mix everything together mix.
  5. Pour the batter into a springform pan lined with baking paper.
  6. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  7. Bake the cake at 180 degrees for approx. 70 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle the cooled apple cake with powdered sugar.
