Grilled lamb with garlic, lemon and ginger

Lamb shish kebab is a wonderful variant of the shish kebab. In combination with garlic, onions, ginger and lemon, an ingenious taste develops. Marinated in a spicy way, the lamb becomes wonderfully tender and tastes absolutely delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg lamb, in bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp ginger, ground
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 2 onions
  • 200 g olive oil
  • 2 juice, from 2 lemons
  • salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the spices with the lemon juice and olive oil in a saucepan.
  2. Press the garlic.
  3. Chop the onions into small pieces.
  4. Mix everything and season with salt.
  5. Let the lamb marinade in the oil for 2 hours.
  6. Drag the marinated meat onto skewers.
  7. Grill over the grill for about 20-30 minutes, turning frequently.
