Grilled aubergines with tzatziki

One of the grill classics are the aubergines. Grilled aubergines are a first-class side dish for a barbecue evening. The tasty grilled vegetables go well with both meat and fish, but can also be served with tzatziki or lemon yoghurt dip.

  • 2 aubergines
  • 1 tsp paprika powder, sweet
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  1. Cut the aubergines in half.
  2. Cut the insides in a cross pattern with a knife.
  3. Mix the paprika powder with salt and oil in a bowl.
  4. Coat the insides of the aubergines with the oil mixture.
  5. Grill the aubergines on the grill for approx. Grill for 30-40 minutes on both sides until golden brown.
  6. Serve the grilled aubergines with tzatziki or lemon yoghurt dip.
