Ingredients

  • 750 g apples, e.g. Boskoop or Elstar
  • 250 g preserving sugar 3:1
  • Apple juice, to taste, not much
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder

Utensils

  • peeler
  • knife
  • pot
  • mixing spoon
  • hand blender
  • jam jars

Instructions

  1. Peel and core the apples.
  2. Cut into small pieces.
  3. Put the fruit in a saucepan.
  4. Add some apple juice.
  5. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. The apple jam puree with a blender.
  7. Add the preserving sugar and stir well.
  8. Bring to the boil and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  9. Spice the jam with cinnamon.
  10. Pour the apple jam into jam jars.
  11. Let the Christmas jam turn around and cool down .
