Ingredients

  • 1500-1800 g fish, e.g. pollack or another fish
  • salt, to taste
  • ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 ml milk
  • 180-200 g flour
  • vegetable oil, approx .500-600 for frying

Utensils

  • kitchen scale
  • measuring cup
  • cutting board
  • knife
  • bowl
  • whisk
  • strainer
  • frying pan
  • spatula

Instructions

  1. Wash the fish, peel off the skin.
  2. Cut the fish fillet into portions.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Leave to stand for 10-15 minutes.
  5. For the batter, place eggs in a bowl with ½ teaspoon of salt and milk Whisk together.
  6. Sieve in the flour.
  7. Mix well with a whisk to form a thick batter.
  8. Heat the oil in a frying pan at high temperature.
  9. Draw the fish fillets through the batter.
  10. In the hot oil from both sides 3 -Fry for 4 minutes until golden and crispy.
  11. Then place the fish on paper towels to drain.

Serve the fish with mashed potatoes, bread or a fresh salad.
