Ingredients

  • 300 ml plain yoghurt, or Greek yoghurt
  • 1 cucumber
  • ¹⁄₂ bunch of dill
  • 1 handful of walnuts
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

Utensils

  • fine sieve
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • garlic press
  • bowl

Instructions

  1. Pour the yoghurt through a fine sieve to drain the excess liquid.
  2. Meanwhile, wash the cucumber and cut into small cubes.
  3. Chop the dill and walnuts.
  4. Peel the garlic cloves and press them through the garlic press.
  5. Then put all the ingredients in a bowl.
  6. Mix together and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Place the cucumber salad in the fridge for approx. 1 hour.
  8. Arrange in balls on the plate before serving.
  9. With cucumber slices or garnish with walnuts.
