Fluffy apple pie with semolina and flour

An amazingly light and super delicious recipe for an apple pie with semolina. Simply mix all the ingredients together and bake in layers with apples in the baking pan. The result is a fluffy apple pie that invites you to linger with a cup of tea.

  • 4 apples
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 100g margarine, frozen


  1. Mix together the flour, sugar and semolina.
  2. Grease a round baking tin and spread 1 part of the flour mixture evenly over the base.
  3. Peel and grate the apples and spread half over the flour mixture.
  4. With the 2nd part of the flour mixture ( put something aside for sprinkling ) and place the remaining apples.
  5. Sprinkle with the remaining flour mixture.
  6. Finally grate the frozen margarine or butter and spread evenly over the cake.
  7. In the preheated oven at approx. 180 ° C Bake about 40-45 minutes.
