Ingredients

  • 45 ml white rum
  • 25 ml Cointreau
  • 25 ml lime juice
  • 50 ml pineapple juice
  • 15 ml almond syrup
  • 15 ml brown rum
  • 1 pineapple slice
  • 1 cocktail cherry

Utensils

  • cocktail shaker
  • cocktail glass

Instructions

  1. Shake the crushed ice vigorously.
  2. Add the rum, Cointreau, lime juice, pineapple juice and almond syrup.
  3. Mix together for 20-30 seconds.
  4. Pour the cocktail into a glass
  5. Pour the dark rum carefully.
  6. Mai Tai Garnish the cocktail with a pineapple slice and cherry.

Ice cubes can also be used instead of crushed ice.
