Delicious pancakes with yeast without eggs

Completely without eggs or dairy, these simple yet delicious pancakes with yeast are very crispy, fluffy and tender. The ingredients are simply mixed together and need some time to rise. Then bake in the frying pan and enjoy. A wonderful pancake recipe for vegans.

Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1½ tsp high-speed yeast
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil, + some for frying
  • 300-350 ml water

Instructions

  1. Sieve the flour.
  2. Mix the sugar, salt and yeast in a bowl.
  3. Add the oil and 200 ml of warm water.
  4. Mix the dough with the mixer until smooth.
  5. Cover with a towel, on let rise in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.
  6. Boil 70-100 ml of water, let stand 4-5 minutes.
  7. Once the dough has doubled in size, add the hot water you prepared.
  8. Mix well again.
  9. Cover with a towel and leave to stand in a warm place for another 15-20 minutes.
  10. Preheat the frying pan and lightly oil it.
  11. Pour in the pancake batter little by little.
  12. Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden.
