Ingredients

  • 1-2 apples
  • 3-4 tbsp flour
  • 90 g cornstarch
  • 3 tsp water
  • 1 egg
  • vegetable oil, approx. 300 ml for frying
  • 150 g sugar
  • sesame, to taste
  • cinnamon, optional

Utensils

  • knife
  • cutting board
  • bowl
  • saucepan
  • paper towels
  • frying pan
  • mixing spoon

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples, core, dice roughly and roll in flour on all sides.
  2. Heat 300 ml of vegetable oil in a saucepan.
  3. Mix the cornstarch, 2 teaspoons of water and egg into a thick batter.
  4. Drunk the apples in the batter in pieces Pull out and fry in hot oil for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Then drain the apples on kitchen paper.
  6. Sugar, 1 teaspoon water and 3 tablespoons vegetable oil in a pan and heat for about 6-8 minutes at low temperature let simmer until the caramel is ready.
