Ingredients

Pumpkin Pie

  • 325 g flour
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • 1½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg, ground
  • 1 pinch cloves, ground
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 340 g sugar
  • 170 g butter
  • 3½ tbsp oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 320g pumpkin puree

Frosting

  • 110g butter
  • 230g cream cheese
  • 570g caster sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 60 ml milk

Instructions

Pumpkin Pie

  1. Mix the flour with baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt in a bowl.
  2. In another mixing bowl, mix the sugar with butter and 3 tablespoons oil with a stand mixer for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add two of the eggs and continue Beat.
  4. Add half of the dry ingredients to the liquid mixture and mix well.
  5. Add vanilla extract with pumpkin puree and mix.
  6. Add the remaining dry mixture and mix again.
  7. Put the dough into a lightly greased 12″ x 18″ pan Transfer to large baking pan.
  8. Bake the pumpkin pie at 350°F for about 12-15 minutes.
  9. Remove the pumpkin pie from the oven and let cool.

Frosting

  1. Stir together the butter and cream cheese in a bowl.
  2. Mix in half the powdered sugar and salt.
  3. Add the vanilla extract, cinnamon and milk and mix until smooth.
  4. Add the powdered sugar and mix again.
  5. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled pumpkin pie.
  6. Pumpkin pie for 30 -Place in the fridge for 60 minutes.
