Ingredients

Muffins

  • 100 g butter
  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 p. Vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 80 g yoghurt

Ganache topping

  • 250 g chocolate, finely chopped
  • 250 g cream

Utensils

  • Hand mixer
  • Bowl
  • Muffin tin
  • Paper cups
  • Spoon
  • Pot
  • Whisk
  • Piping bag
  • Halloween decor

Instructions

  1. Bake muffins
  2. Preheat the oven to 175°C top and bottom heat.
  3. Line the muffin baking tray with paper cups.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time and stir well.
  6. Add the yoghurt and stir briefly.
  7. Mix the flour with the baking powder and baking soda.
  8. Add the flour mixture in portions to the butter mixture and briefly stir carefully.
  9. Pour the batter into the molds.
  10. Bake the muffins for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  11. Let the muffins cool down completely.
  12. Prepare the ganache
  13. For the ganache, briefly boil the cream and butter in a saucepan and remove from the stove.
  14. Then add the chocolate.
  15. Stir carefully with a whisk until you get a glossy, even mass.
  16. Then let the cream cool down at room temperature.
  17. Then cover the ganache and put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  18. Beat the ganache until creamy and fill into a piping bag.
  19. Dress the muffins with the ganache cream.
  20. Top the finished cupcakes with decorations and serve for Halloween.

It is best to prepare the ganache a day in advance, then you can quickly start with the topping.
