Ingredients

  • 100 g butter
  • 5-6 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3-4 tsp cinnamon
  • 450 g puff pastry
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan or in the microwave.
  4. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl.
  5. The puff pastry Roll out to a thickness of approx. 5-7 mm and into a rectangular shape.
  6. Grease the dough with melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  8. Then roll into a tight roll.
  9. Cut the roll into 2 to 3 cm thick cinnamon rolls.
  10. Place the cinnamon rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
  11. Whisk together the egg yolks and milk using a fork.
  12. Grush the cinnamon rolls with this mixture.
  13. Bake the cinnamon rolls for 20-30 minutes until golden.
