Crispy fried potatoes with bacon and onions
Ingredients
- 1 kg of potatoes
- 1-2 onions
- 100-150 g of bacon
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Utensils
- kitchen scale
- cutting board
- knife
- vegetable peeler
- frying pan
Instructions
- Peel and wash the potatoes and onions.
- Cut the potatoes into sticks and the onions into half rings.
- Dice the bacon finely.
- Heat a frying pan over high heat.
- Add the bacon cubes to the pan.
- Simmer, stirring, for approx. Fry for 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Add the potatoes to the pan and stir.
- Fry for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the onions, fry for another 10 minutes.
- Add about 3-5 minutes before the end of the Season the roast potatoes with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve fried potatoes with bacon with pickles, if desired.
