Ingredients

  • ½ bunch basil
  • ¼ lemon
  • 30 g Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 4 corn on the cob
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the basil leaves.
  2. Set aside half the herbs.
  3. Zest the lemon with a fine grater.
  4. Grate the parmesan and garlic on a fine grater.
  5. Set aside half the cheese.
  6. Place the basil, lemon zest, parmesan, garlic, butter, salt and pepper in a tall container and mix with a hand blender until smooth.
  7. Coat the corn on the cob with the prepared oil.
  8. Grill the corn for 12 to 15 minutes.
  9. Brush the hot corn with oil and sprinkle with the remaining basil and Parmesan.

The corn can also be baked in an oven preheated to 190°C for 30-40 minutes.
