Coffee smoothie with banana for breakfast

This coffee smoothie is a delicious alternative for breakfast grouches. The pick-me-up smoothie turns your morning coffee into a creamy shake. Simply mix banana, yoghurt, cold expresso and cocoa in a blender until creamy and the coffee smoothie can be enjoyed.

  • 250ml espresso, freshly brewed and chilled
  • 1 banana, small
  • 250ml yogurt, low-fat
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened


  1. Peel the banana and puree in a blender.
  2. Add the yoghurt and blend together.
  3. Pour in the freshly brewed coffee and blend again.
  4. Add cocoa and cinnamon to the coffee smoothie and serve.
