  • 500 g cherries, in a jar
  • 100 g sugar
  • 50 g butter + for greasing
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 p. Vanilla sugar
  • 300 ml milk
  • 120 g flour
  • icing sugar, to taste


  1. Drain the cherries in a colander.
  2. Grease a glass dish or casserole dish with butter.
  3. Put the cherries evenly in.
  4. Mix the eggs with the sugar, vanilla sugar and 100 ml milk.
  5. In the flour Mix in parts, stirring well each time.
  6. Finally add 50g melted butter and the remaining milk.
  7. Mix with a mixer on low speed.
  8. Pour the batter over the cherries in the mould.
  9. Clafoutis approx. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 30 minutes.
  10. Clafoutis with cherries to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
