Ingredients

Dough

  • 80 g sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 250 ml milk
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 300 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt

Topping

  • 200 g fondant, yellow
  • 100 g fondant, black
  • 1 pack of wafers, round
  • 1 pack of chocolate drops
  • 1 pack of liquorice rolls

Instructions

Prepare the dough

  1. Chop the chocolate into small pieces.
  2. Beat the softened butter, sugar and eggs until fluffy.
  3. Mix the flour with the baking powder, baking soda and salt and add to the egg mixture.
  4. Stir the chopped chocolate with the milk and mix well.
  5. Place the paper cups in the muffin tray (12 muffins).
  6. Pour the batter into the cups.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20-30 minutes on the middle rack, putting a glass of water in the oven.

Decorate the bee

  1. Roll out the yellow rolled fondant and cut out circles ( with the same diameter as the muffins ).
  2. When the muffins are cool, cut off the top of the muffins a little so that there is a flat surface.
  3. Put the yellow circles on the Place the muffins on top.
  4. Cut even bee strips out of the black fondant and place them on the bees.
  5. Cut feelers out of the liquorice snails.
  6. Put chocolate drops in for the bees’ eyes.
  7. The round ones for the wings Halve the wafers and stick them into the bees. Finished!
