Chicken breast fillet in grill marinade with ginger and chili

Marinated in a spicy marinade, the grilled chicken breast fillet with a golden crust tastes delicious. Served with a fresh salad, this is an ideal dish for hot summer days.

  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • 1 onion
  • chili pepper, optional
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp ginger root
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste


  1. Peel the onion and garlic.
  2. Cut the onion into large pieces and the garlic into 4 slices.
  3. Remove the seeds from the chilli and chop finely.
  4. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon.
  5. Put the onion, garlic and chilli in a blender jar .
  6. Add cumin, ginger, black pepper, salt and lemon juice and mix well together.
  7. Rinse the chicken breasts under running water and mix in a bowl with the prepared marinade.
  8. Marinate the chicken breasts in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  9. The Remove the chicken breast fillets from the marinade and grill on the grill for approx. 20 minutes.
