Bruschetta bread baked with tomatoes and mozzarella

Bruschetta – the Italian antipasti of crusty bread topped with tomato gratin and melty cheese is to die for. The aromatic appetizer is the ideal addition to any buffet or simply as a Mediterranean side dish.

  • 4 slices of white bread, or baguette
  • 250 g mozzarella
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 40 g butter
  • 2 stalks of chives
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Basil, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste


  1. Peel the garlic clove and chop finely.
  2. Cut the chives into rings, cut the mozzarella and tomatoes into strips.
  3. Grip butter on the bread.
  4. Season with garlic.
  5. Serve with the mozzarella, tomatoes and onion rings.
  6. Baking sheet Grease with vegetable oil, place the bruschetta on the tray.
  7. Bake the bruschetta in a preheated oven at 180°C.
  8. Season the bruschetta with pepper, garnish with the basil and serve.
