Birthday cake with bananas

Here comes the birthday cake in Hawaiian style! The mole cake with a difference – is colored with pink and green and thus gets a very exotic look. The cake tastes chocolaty, creamy and sweet. Bananas and whipped cream with chocolate sprinkles hidden under a colorful layer of crumbs are a great combination.

  • 110 g butter, softened
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 70 ml milk
  • Food colouring, pink and green


  • 400 ml whipped cream, cold
  • 2 tsp San Apart
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • Lemon flavouring, optional
  • 50 g chocolate sprinkles
  • 3 bananas



  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Line a 24 cm springform pan with baking paper.
  3. Sieve the flour with baking powder.
  4. Stir the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy.
  5. Stir in the eggs one at a time.
  6. The Stir in the flour mixture alternately with the milk.
  7. Mix everything together to form an even batter.
  8. Cut the batter in half and color one part pink and the other green.
  9. Split the two halves of the batter into the prepared springform pan.
  10. Bake the cake for 30 minutes Bake at 180 degrees.
  11. Let the cake cool on a wire rack.
  12. Cut out the different cake bases separately with a spoon.
  13. Divide the two cake crumbs into two bowls.


  1. The cold cream with vanilla sugar, San Apart and lemon flavor until stiff.
  2. Fold in the chocolate sprinkles.
  3. Halve the bananas lengthways.
  4. Lay them next to each other on the cake base uen.
  5. Put the birthday cake in the fridge for 2 hours.
  6. Put in the candles before serving and decorate as you like.
