Beef salad with mango

A nutritious and refreshing salad made with beef strips, fruity mango chunks, nutty arugula and a tangy sweet dressing.

  • 400 g beef fillet
  • 1 mango
  • 200 g rocket
  • 1 stick celery
  • 1 pinch chili powder
  • 1 stick fresh ginger
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cane sugar
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 squeeze of lime juice
  • 1 handful of peanuts
  • pepper, to taste


  1. Mix a marinade with soy sauce, sesame oil, vegetable oil, chilli, some grated ginger and black pepper.
  2. Remove some of the marinade for the dressing.
  3. Cut the beef into medallions.
  4. Soak the meat in the marinade for 2 hours .
  5. Fry the meat in the pan over high heat.
  6. Cut the medallions into thin strips.
  7. Finely slice the celery stick and sauté with the meat.
  8. For the dressing: cane sugar, a little grated ginger, a squeeze of lime juice and some Add water to the removed marinade.
  9. Peel the mango and cut into pieces.
  10. Mix the mango, beef with celery and arugula in a salad bowl.
  11. Serve with the salad dressing.
  12. Sprinkle with peanuts and serve the salad.
