Ingredients

  • 100-150 g quinoa
  • 3 peppers
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 150 g mince
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 70-80 g cheese, grated

Utensils

  • pot
  • knife
  • casserole dish
  • pan
  • mixing spoon

Instructions

  1. Cook the quinoa for about 15 minutes and leave to cool.
  2. Have the peppers in half and deseed them.
  3. Cut one half of the pepper into small pieces, leaving the rest whole.
  4. Finely chop the onion and sauté in a pan for about 5 minutes sauté with butter.
  5. Add the ground beef with the chopped peppers and sauté for 7-8 minutes.
  6. Mix the quinoa with the ground beef, season with salt and pepper.
  7. Stuff the pepper halves with the ground quinoa mixture.
  8. Place the peppers in a greased baking dish.
  9. Cook the stuffed peppers at 180-200°C for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle with grated cheese 5-7 minutes before the end of cooking.

The peppers can also be filled with rice or buckwheat instead of quinoa.
