Ingredients

  • 2 bunch of green asparagus
  • 2 p. Puff pastry
  • 1 egg, for brushing
  • 2 tbsp sesame, or black cumin

Utensils

  • knife
  • pot
  • kitchen brush

Instructions

  • Break off the green asparagus at the ends, possibly cutting off the woody part.
  • Simmer the asparagus in boiling water for about 5 minutes and let drain.
  • Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares.
  • Three asparagus sticks on one Lay the puff pastry square next to each other.
  • Press the two opposite ends together.
  • Grush the puff pastry asparagus pockets with a whisked egg.
  • Sprinkle with sesame and black cumin.
  • Bake the puff pastry with asparagus at 200 degrees for approx. 20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Ham can be wrapped around the asparagus. Serve the asparagus recipe with Hollandaise sauce or yoghurt cream.
